introducing...

kube head by fabio consoli

this is a great toy from the first time paper designer from italy. with a pretty hefty portfolio of graphic design already behind him, one can hope this paper is just the start. kubehead sort of reminds me of the work from another italian paper toy maker, PHIL. the color and shapes are similar and yet not totally a carbon copy.

the removable face-cube offers a bunch of different looks, but you can bet i'll be keeping mine pac•man-ified.

who wants a horrorwood taco?

i know, right? any day over taco bell...

this is a custom courtesy Horrorwood for the taco truck series by Idham Mahardhika. while not exactly the most engaging of paper forms, to underestimate the simplistic taco truck would be a big mistake. the form allows the designer a great canvas upon which to lay down some very cool imagery. Along with Horrorwood's custom, you can find the ones from PHIL and salazad HERE.

and you can get Horrorwood's, HERE

the ancient shaman series #2 [shin tanaka]

these are the ancients. the shaman mystics of a world that existed a long time ago.

this shaman ancient wrote the rules of the sky and of the water. this ancient shaman is the one all others looked to when the stars fell, expecting some kind of explanation. all they received in return was a knowing smile.
