horrorwood's profondo rosso for vin's APE

the next release from vin's APE series...

from the appropriately named horrorwood. don't sleep on this one folks, the picture doesn't do it justice. there's a ton of gory detail inside the truck as this design honors some cult classics.

who wants a horrorwood taco?

i know, right? any day over taco bell...

this is a custom courtesy Horrorwood for the taco truck series by Idham Mahardhika. while not exactly the most engaging of paper forms, to underestimate the simplistic taco truck would be a big mistake. the form allows the designer a great canvas upon which to lay down some very cool imagery. Along with Horrorwood's custom, you can find the ones from PHIL and salazad HERE.

and you can get Horrorwood's, HERE

new APE paper customs

the new series of custom designs for the APE paper toy from vinsart have come online...

this is a cool toy based on the three wheeled utility cart ever present in the tiny streets of italy. in the past, vin has re-interpreted or re-imagined some of the ways in which this vehicle could be used, cigarette smuggler, sushi chef, guerrilla insurgents....

but now he's let others in on the fun. the new batch of designs are from salazad, saloquin, thunderpanda, zerolabor, scott charron, horrorwood, giulia mag, marko zubak, abz, and yours truly.

it's an honor to mentioned in the same breath as some of the heavy hitters in paper and the designs are stunning. vin will be releasing them one at a time, so keep checking back HERE

miasma, a custom leechoso by horrorwood

i'm very grateful and humbled to present miasma into the small but growing leechoso family. considering jack lives in japan i'm just thrilled to know my friend and his family are alright.

esoteric to the nth degree, miasma represents many layers of thought and interpretation. i never in my wildest dreams ever considered this toy going to the places horrorwood has taken it. thank you! DOWNLOAD

calling all cars x baykiddead

oh. yeah. chick.magnet.

the kind of guy that'll wear a "shocker" t-shirt to his niece's high school graduation. check his glove box, 10 bucks says there's a 8 track of journey's greatest hits next to a flashlight that doesn't work and a pen that's never written a complete sentence.

and you better bet your ass he knows all the words to "don't stop believing." just don't try and out air-guitar solo him. or invite him to your home.

don't ever do that.

chick.magnet. his idea of romance is olive garden and a girl on girl vid. he has the high score for ms. pac•man on no less than 14 consoles all over town. it had been 15, but chuck e. cheese won't allow him in the building. presumably for his continual rant of "i'd tap that..." during his playing of the game.

chick.magnet buys gas 5 dollars at a time, but never buys less than a 12 pack of pbr. the only art he's ever purchased required a black light. vacation is going to the hooters across state lines. chick.magnet owns all 8 collector versions of billy the singing bass, the entire star trek series on VHS, and each and every  1:43 scale, hot wheels NASCAR die-cast car from the 1998 season. chick.magnet has no retirement plan.

chick.magnet has no concept of politically correct. except when it comes to his mullet. chick.magnet takes offense to the term "mullet" he feels the correct verbiage for his preferred hair style is, "business in the front, party in the back." and that's exactly how he orders it at the barber shop.
